This
braided sleeving consists of a syntetic network. This sleeving expands the diameter when shortned in length and gets a smaller diameter when pulled to become lomger. This procedure is reversible. This means, when pushed over the cables of the wiring loom the sleeving will expand so it will fit over the cables and then when pulled off the wiring loom the sleeving will fit tight on the wires. The ends of the sleeving will then be fixed with a cable tie. To avoid disintegration of the sleeving during installation, the ends may be treated with heat.
